Camp is in one week! (we have a few spots left)

Next Tuesday, the team heads off to the mountains for what will be an amazing trip.

A few spots are open for both boys and girls, so if your plans have changed or you are interested in joining, please email Jennifer (jareich424@gmail.com) and we can get you signed up. (Scholarships are also available if cost is a barrier)

Camp Sign Up deadline is Sunday night (June 24) at midnight.

This is a fun-filled two-night camp outside Winter Park, with training, team bonding, athlete development and education, swimming, and smores. New team members are encouraged to join us.

July 10 – 12, 2018 at Tabernash, CO (YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch)

Cost:  $165 (scholarship support available)

Pay with Cheddar Up

After you sign up, you will need to submit a signed and notarized power of attorney (POA) form. Return the form by June 29, 2018 to Coach Kohuth or email a scanned copy to Ruth at ruthspano@aol.com.  These forms will be valid for the 2018-19 school year and can cover camp, out of town invitationals and the running club’s snow shoe trip in the winter.

Elk Meadow Friday Fun Run

Runners!

Join Coaches Delaney and Kohuth and Bambi for this week’s Friday Fun Run at Elk Meadow, part of  Jeffco Open Space.  Be ready for some gorgeous trails and YES, elk or deer will be around!

Meet in the teachers’ parking lot at 8:30 am.  Please let us know if you are going and if you can help drive by clicking here:  Elk Meadow FFR

We will run green and blue trails for approximately 6.6 miles. There is the potential to add a bit more for anyone who wants to get more miles in on Friday.  As usual, wear sunscreen and bring water.  If you haven’t turned in a fun run permission slip, click here to get one:  Friday Fun Run Permission Slip

Friday Fun Run – Platte River

Hey Fun Runners!

Join Coach Miller and some of our other xc coaches for this Friday’s Fun Run!

  1.  Meet at the teachers’ parking lot at 8:30am.
  2. Let us know if you are going, if you or your parent can drive or if you need a ride by clicking here:

    3.  Bring water and a healthy snack for after the run.   Remember to wear sunscreen.

Thursday has gone to the dogs!

Thursday, June 14 will be run with your dog day.  If your dog is friendly and healthy enough to run with the team, bring it to practice on Thursday morning at 8:30 am.  We’ll meet at the big E.   If you don’t have a dog, just bring yourself.

Be sure your dog has current vaccinations and is sociable. You might want to bring extra water & poop bags for your pooch.
