Denver East Cross Country Runners,
East will still compete tomorrow at the North Viking Invitational. No athlete is required to race.Those athletes who wish to race should arrive 90 minutes before their race. Information about the meet is below.
CARPOOL UPDATE: We will not have a bus and will rely on carpooling to the meet. Carpools should meet at the fountain at City Park rather than at East High School. You can sign up to drive others or to get a ride here. (Please text or make arrangments for yourselves using information on this link.)
Varsity athletes not competing are encouraged to meet at Case Willis Golf Course at 2:30pm to do their 40-55 minute maintenance run and support their teammates who are racing. If you cannot make it to the meet, we encourage you to run on your own.
We know this has been a challenging day and hope that you are finding whatever support you need. Your coaches (and teammates) are here for you. Please let us know if you need anything.
Directions to Willis Golf Course:
From I-70- Take the Sheridan Blvd exit and head North to 52nd street. You will drive by the Golf Course on your right hand side. Head East on 52nd Ave to Tennyson St. Turn West onto 50th Ave, and make a left at the fork. (Parking will be available at club house or secondary parking on the street)

3:15 pm Girl’s Open Race (unlimited -score Top 5)
4:00 pm Boy’s Varsity Race (7 runners – Top 5 score)
4:45 pm Girl’s Varsity Race (7runners – Top 5 score)
5:15 pm Awards Ceremony outside the clubhouse
