There will be practice on Monday and Tuesday at 3:15pm for all runners competing at State Meet as well as those continuing their training for Nike Southwest races next month.
For those away during the fall break, please do the following workouts.
Monday: 3 mile warm-up. If you have access to a track, run 3 laps (1200m) at very fast pace – between your 1 mile and 2 mile race pace. Warm-down 2 miles. If you do not have access to a track, run equivalent distance or about 4 minutes at fast effort. (Yes, the entire workout is just one 1200m or 4 minute interval).
Tuesday: 50 minute maintenance run. 6 x 100m strides.
