Practice Schedule

Thursday, September 25: 4pm – 5:30pm at City Park. Coaches will be leaving for Kansas at 5:30p; parents please pick-up your student-athletes at 5:30p.

Friday, September 26: No team practice. Run on own. Level 4: 40-50 minutes plus 4 strides; Level 3: 35-45 minutes plus 4 strides; Level 2: 30-40 minutes plus 4 strides; Level 1: 25-35 minutes plus 4 strides.

Saturday, September 27: No team practice. Run on own. Level 4: 60-70 minute progression; Level 3: 55-65 minute progression; Level 2: 50-60 minute progression; Level 1: 45-55 minute progression. “Progression” will be reviewed at Thursday practice. Following run, complete 4-6 20 second strides at faster than race pace. “Hard” post-run work.

Monday, September 29: Regular full team practice at City Park at 4pm.

Kansas runners: be ready to leave immediately following practice tomorrow. Bring extra water bottles! It is going to be warm and humid and there is no water available at course.
