)Spectator parking.  $10 in the NPEC parking lot.  Brave folks can probably find free parking if they’re willing to walk a little bit.

)The Athlete Village – aka the Barn – is looking quite beautiful at the moment.  If you would prefer to set up camp elsewhere, the NORTH side of the NPEC Stadium is a good spot.  The SOUTH side is reserved for spectators.  There are a lot of covered areas; staying dry shouldn’t be a problem as long as we all play nicely with each other.

)We have 70 teams and 1,500 athletes participating today.  Our timer is on top of things, but I ask that you exhibit the highest level of patience and grace toward her that you can possibly muster today as it is a stressfull job.  About a half dozen teams never registered into their assigned race – we will get you there, but your bib might say otherwise.

)Top 10 T-Shirts will be awarded as runners cross the finish line in all Varsity races.  Approximately 20-30 mintues after each race, the top 3 teams will be called to the West side of the staidum to receive their Belt Buckles!

)The course is in surprisingly good condition given the amount of rainfall that has hit us this summer.  I will review a couple of the spots to be aware of in the coaches meetings this afternoon.  There is a minor course change that I will share with you at the meeting as well – don’t worry, it will be very difficult to get lost today given the course and the volunteers.

)The key word today will be FLEXIBILITY.  We moved the entire schedule up a little bit to give us more room to manage weather delays, and we have more tools at our disposal to minimize the impact of weather to our schedule.

THANK YOU yet again for choosing to spend your afternoon in beautiful Colorado Springs and we will see you all soon.
